Hi LJ, how are you?
I haven't been paying much attention to what's going on in online land, between (more) dental hijinks, trying to find a realtor or buyers agent, and voraciously reading The Baroque Cycle (If yr not familiar with this particular series of novels, the three books number about 1,000 pages each, so one has to pretty much devote one's entire spare time to reading them, lest one forget what the hell happened at the beginning of Quicksilver by the time one is halfway through The System of the World).

But I just wanted to mention what a delight it was spinning with DJ ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dehuman8 up in Maine @ Plague last Friday. We tag-teamed for much of the time, which was a large pile of FUN, and which I should do more often. Props also due to the bartender, who went out of his way to fetch woodchuck cider for me <3
I'm also VERY MUCH looking forward to DJing at the Kinetik Festival next month in Montreal. Clint (playing as Synnack) and myself will both be performing on Friday night. Even if I wasn't DJing, the band lineup alone would have given me several heart attacks and prompted an immediate hotel room booking.
Front 242 is headlining Infest. Holy fuck me running.

I love Zappos. I love them even more because these shoes (the green colorway) are set to arrive in my hot little hands today. I don't like to wear flats like OMG EVER (I have a gigantically tall husband. Seriously. I look like a 12yr old if we stand next to each other w/out heels), but these spoke to me. Screamed, would be a more exact term, come to think of it. Yep, happy = shoes.
